Meet the Team

Win Fowler - Win has been making sails for over thirty five years.  A tactician and trimmer on the Formula 40 catamaran, Fluid Designs in the ProSail professional racing series in the late 1980s, Win also ran the sail loft for America³ in their successful 1992 defense of the America´s Cup. Win is the 1997 and 1998 Gulf of Maine Ocean Racing Champion. Our chief sail designer, and a former PHRF handicapper, Win is a contributor to Points East Magazine and Sail Magazine.

Ken Pettersen - Ken has over twenty years of sailmaking experience. Also a former A³ team member, Ken is a three time Gulf of Maine Champion Skipper.  Ken runs our Carlson Designs plotter/cutter and has been with MSP since 1989.

Robert Haile - Rob worked for Offshore Sailing School as a professional instructor and coached the University of Southern Maine and Bates College sailing teams.  Rob has been a part of Maine Sailing Partners since 1999.

Phyllis Aschenbrenner - Phyllis runs Acadia Sails, an MSP associate loft covering Downeast Maine. When she is not building fine canvas or selling MSP sails to her customers, Phyllis is active in the Northeast Harbor International Class Fleet.

Will Dennett - Will owns MSP affiliate Aurora Sails and Canvas in Camden.  Will has more than 25 years sailmaking experience from Texas to Maine and as far afield as Australia.  Will is our point man in the Mid-Coast.
