Maine Sailing Partners custom builds racing mainsails to maximize upwind performance and present a large projected area profile for downwind speed.  We can suggest designs, materials, and features to offer the best balance of performance and value no matter what your boat or budget.

Grand Prix - Our grand prix sails are built without compromise.  These sails are made from only the strongest and lightest fabrics.  Choose a D4 custom load path sail of high modulus aramid, carbon, Technora Black, Vectran, Pentex or Dyneema.  Ultrabond laminated seams for the best shape retention.  External taffetas and internal taffeta inserts available for additional durability.  

Club Racing - These sails are designed to provide excellent performance with a longer life than our grand prix sails.  Cut from the finest aramid, carbon, Pentex, and polyester laminate fabrics and assembled with Ultrabond hot glue, these sails are a less expensive alternative to our grand prix sails.

Durable Racing - For the less active sailor on a budget we can build a performance sail that offers a great compromise between durability and speed.
